Welcome to Mr Sandwich in York.

The Shambles is one of the best known streets in the historic city of York and perhaps the most famous. The Shambles exudes a wealth of medieval charm and it is here that you will find our tiny, oak beamed shop of 6 sq meters!

Mr Sandwich opened its doors in 2004 and quickly built up a loyal following of tourists and locals alike. We are famous for our policy of quality, taste & freshness and also our friendly service. But perhaps most of all the price! There may be no such thing as a free lunch but at Mr Sandwich you will definitely find the next best thing - All sandwiches costing just £1.00!

On the menu is a choice of 50+ mouth watering sandwiches with innovative fillings. Also on offer are 50 fresh wholesome salads & fresh fruit combos, cookies & cakes. Not forgetting our ‘Greedy Pig.’ Ever popular, the Greedy Pig is a sandwich packed with a combination of fillings of your own choice.
